The AtruhaTeX guide
Navigate a manuscript and its references
Find sections across files, insert citations and work with source and visual content.
Follow the structure of the project
Open Outline to navigate headings in the project’s source files. Choose a heading to open its file at the corresponding source. Use project search for a phrase across files; in-file Find remains available for the current document. Labels and citation keys connect a manuscript to its destinations and references.
Work with a bibliography
Open References to inspect bibliography records, search by author or title, and insert a citation at the cursor. Add or edit records in a .bib file using the reference controls or source. Check duplicate keys and unresolved citations before a review. Use your own source metadata; a starter’s example reference is a real example record, not a recommendation to cite it.
Keep source and visual editing in agreement
Source and Visual edit the same LaTeX document. Visual projects supported headings, prose and structured objects while keeping the source authoritative. Unsupported constructs remain available as source. When a custom command cannot be represented visually, edit that part in Source and preserve its surrounding structure.
Edit tables and TikZ figures
Open Table or TikZ from the toolbar. Insert creates an object at the current selection; reopening a supported object lets you apply changes to that object. Review captions, labels and generated source. If the underlying source changes while a tool is open, reopen the object before applying changes.
Read an existing PDF
Choose PDF in the document bar, then Open PDF to read an unencrypted file up to 5 MiB from your device. Opening it here keeps it in your browser and never uploads it. To read a PDF already stored in the project, open it from Files or choose it in Project PDF. Use the page number or arrows to move between pages, zoom in or out, fit the page width and download the open file. On wide screens, drag the divider to resize Editor and PDF; on narrow screens, switch between their tabs. Uploading through Files is a separate action that stores a PDF in the shared project. LaTeX compilation remains unavailable, so editing source does not update the PDF.
