The AtruhaTeX guide
Save milestones and recover work
Compare deliberate project versions, restore recent work and manage the trash.
Name a project milestone
Choose Version history in the document bar to create a named milestone, such as Sent for review or Revision 2. A milestone records the project’s saved files together. Wait for pending edits to be saved before taking the snapshot. Compare milestones to see which files changed and inspect source differences.
Restore with your collaborators in mind
Restoring a project version changes the shared project. Review the selected milestone and confirmation before proceeding. If another edit arrives, refresh and compare again. Recent per-file saved versions remain available for document recovery; they are separate from deliberate named milestones.
Recover a deleted item
Deleted files and projects move to the trash for 30 days. Open Trash from the project or Projects page to review available items. Restoration can require resolving a name conflict or freeing storage. Permanent deletion removes the recovery option; download a separate copy first when needed.
Keep recovery copies separate from milestones
Browser recovery copies protect work that has not yet reached the server. Saved file versions protect recent document states. Named milestones capture deliberate project stages. A project ZIP is a separate portable copy. Check which kind of copy you are using before replacing current work.
