The AtruhaTeX guide
Start in AtruhaTeX Web
Sign in, create a project and find your way around the browser workspace.
Open your workspace
Choose Try AtruhaTeX Web, or AtruhaTeX Web beside the account controls. If you are signed in, Projects opens directly in the current language; otherwise, sign in with the same account as the website. A verified email is required to open projects. If you create an account, finish email verification and return to Projects. An invitation is accepted only by the verified account matching its recipient address.
Create or import a project
Choose New project from the Projects sidebar. Enter a name and keep Blank document selected to start writing in main.tex, or choose Use a template for a prepared structure. Template cards show document silhouettes; expand Included files to see the filenames and template details. Import ZIP brings in an existing source project. Choose the main document from project settings when an import has more than one candidate. Projects are private until you grant access.
Move around your projects
The Projects sidebar remains on the left in Arabic and English. Use All projects, My projects, Shared with me and Archive to choose a collection, or open Trash to recover deleted work. Home returns to the public website. Search and sort apply to the project list you are viewing.
Find your tools
The project header shows the name, save status and Share, with Home available to return to the website. The left activity rail opens Files, Outline, References, Search and Review. Comments also opens Review; Version history opens project milestones. Tools contains the two-row toolbar with Table, Image and TikZ. Editor contains the Source/Visual switch and writing canvas. PDF opens a separate viewer beside the editor on wider screens; on narrow screens, switch between Editor and PDF tabs. The sidebar settings icon opens compact editor preferences.
Find a command
Choose Search commands in the header, or press Ctrl+K, then type the action you need. Ctrl+Shift+P also opens command search. Use the arrow keys to select a result and Enter to run it. On macOS, use Command instead of Ctrl.
Check that changes are saved
The editor reports saving, saved, offline and error states. Wait for confirmation that changes are saved before closing a tab. Browser recovery copies protect unsaved work on this device; they are separate from saved server versions and can be disabled on a shared computer. Download a project ZIP when you need an independent copy.
Use Web and Desktop deliberately
The hosted workspace saves projects to your website account. Local desktop files are not uploaded or synchronized just because you sign in to the website. Use project ZIP export and import to move a source copy between environments. Features shown in desktop guides may have different entry points or availability in the browser.
